Have you already filled out an application? If you reached the screen with a summary of your responses when you applied, your responses have been recorded and you have successfully completed the application (and should receive a copy of your responses in your UIC email.)

The courses listed on your original application do not determine your eligibility; we will review current course registrations in Banner to determine awardees. If you wish to withdraw your application, email summersuccess@uic.edu.

Worried that you haven’t been notified? Please see the notification timeline below.

Notification Timeline Heading link

Initial notifications of a decision for Summer 2024 will be emailed to all applicants at their UIC emails starting April 22 through May 3. If awardees are not able to meet all eligibility requirements, subsequent applicants will be selected on an ongoing basis.

After applying, students should register for summer courses. If not being selected requires you to alter your summer plans, you can change your schedule without penalties by dropping courses before the Add/Drop deadline for Summer Session 1 (May 15) so as not to be charged.

For students who have applied and have questions about their award or the waitlist should consult the Frequently Asked Questions on the Post-Award Information page.
